The Liberia National Union (LINU) was formed by former Vice President Dr. Harry Moniba in 1997.
Moniba helped to create the multi-party election system and served as LINU’s first standard bearer. LINU participated in the October 2005 elections as part of the three-party United Democratic Alliance (UDA) coalition.
Dr. Clarence Moniba is the 5th political leader of LINU after Dr. Harry Moniba, Cllr. John Morlu, Winston Tubman, and Dr. Nathaniel Blama.
